
After not being able to access therapy for her son, Robyn Schelp began a grassroots effort to get the Autism Insurance Mandate expanded to include all disabilities. This led to her role in being a co-founder of MoDE Foundation. For four years she represented children with disabilities at the capitol as MoDE’s lobbyist. In 2022, she stepped away from her role as MoDE’s lobbyist to become the Director of Policy and Advocacy with Kids Win Missouri. Robyn is still supporting of MoDE’s legislative work as the chair of the Legislative Committee. Robyn lives in Columbia with her husband Allen and three boys, Jacob, Nathan, and Paul.
